Hi

Wanting to book a weekend at Disney resort in August. Have DS twins of 14 and DS of 10. The pool is really important to them. Last year stayed at Beach Club and Polynesian and the year before, Animal Kingdom Lodge. Out of all the other resorts that we haven't tried, which one has the most exciting pool?

Thanks everyone.

Coronado Springs pool is very good and has an awesome slide. It also has an arcade, sand volleyball court and the largest hot tub at WDW. The snacks/food at Siestas are great too..not to mention the margaritas for the parents!!

The CSR pool is my DD's favorite. She is also 14. The slide is very good, 123 ft' long.

Plus the theme of the pool, The Lost City of Cibola, the temple, and the ruins, appeared in the new National Treasure movie.

One that has water in it? :confused3

I agree with Buzz, though. CSR all around is a great resort and the pool is nice.

The Swan/Dolphin have the Grotto pool which is great, too. You can also have 5 people in a room there.

CSR is great too. The theming is just awesome!

the Beach Club probably has the best pool at WDW.

did they love it or not?

like the sandcastle at OKW - it is fine.

I would vote for CSR, too. DS17 also loved the slide at OKW. It's short, but very fast!

It really depends what you are looking for. Pool size, theming, slides? All of the WDW pools have their pros and cons.

I think the poly has a great overall pool. It has great theming, a slide, and you can see the MK and SSL. The only downslide is it is a little smaller.

Also I have heard the BC has a great pool.

So out of the mods i agree with the other posters with CSR. When it comes to the deluxes you have probally already experianced the best. I would maby consider CR.

But really it all comes down to your own opinion and what you really want.

Out of the Resorts you mentioned the only pool I tried was the Volcano one at the Polynesian and the only other pools I can compare it to is the pools at the Contemporary and the Wilderness Lodge. Theme wise the Polynesian wins because I thought the Volcano pool was very cool, however when it comes to the best water slide the Contemporary pool wins that.

Hi

Thanks for all the replies. By best pool, I was thinking of best slide, so would that be the Contemporary then?

CR pool was boring accrording to my DD. CSR has a long 123ft' slide with twists and turns. Its awesome!

I would say CSR, for all the reasons others have mentioned. Of all the places we've stayed, the only slide that may be better is the Boardwalk Villas' Keister Coaster. The food, arcade, deck space, restroom size & hot tub are all bigger & better at CSR!

The only problem is that CSR is a moderate and they don't have rooms for 5 people. The OP probably needs a deluxe in order to get a good pool and a room for 5. We have been to POR which will sleep 5, but the pool there is average. It has a slide, but it isn't really big.

CSR offers suites as well to avoid the 5 per room issue.

Most everyone considers the CR pool to be boring.
I do not think it has the best slide either.
