We will be on a DVC Golf trip and myself and friends want to find a nice comfortable location to watch the NFC Championship Game. Would like access to good food and beer to watch the Saints and whoever else might be in the NFC Championship game. We will be at SSR, early thoughts are the Turf Club but I'm unsure if they have a large screen TV there. Maybe Territory Lounge, but it's not the most comfortable seating. Where else ?

Your hotel room or villa.

There is supposed to be a nice sports bar on the second floor of Spiltsville in DTD. You could try that.

Do the monorail loop bar crawl before kickoff then pick your favorite spot for the game

If you have a car and don't mind a fifteen minute drive from the world, Sea Dog brewery blows away anything inside WDW both in terms of quality of beer and the tv selection- it's an awesome place to watch a game. It is a New England brewery with an outpost near International Drive in Orlando. It's light years better than either bar on the boardwalk, in my opinion.

I don't know about NFL Championship games, but my dad and I watched the MSU/OSU Big 10 championship game at the TOWL while we were there. The menu is limited but they have plenty of beer and other drinks. It was a nice quiet place to watch the game. Since your DVC it won't be a problem getting in.

I don't know how technically inclined you are, but I have a device call a VULKANO on my home cable box that allows me to stream my home TV to my laptop/ipad/or smartphone. I think with the $35 chromecast device you can stream it to the TV in your room (I've checked, they have an open HDMI port on the TVs). Then you can get your own beverages and watch in your villa.

Make sure wherever you end up has crying towels. You'll need them when you face my Seahawks. :rotfl:

Great suggestions... It never even occurred to me about trying a place off-site, I guess Disney has me trained to stay on-site. What can you expect after 13 years of intense DVC therapy.

The TOWL, do they have a fairly large HD TV? Also, what are the hours for the TOWL?

As for the Seahawks, Sean Payton will not be embarrassed twice. Though I admit, I'm hoping the 49ers down those dirty birds before we have to face them twice.

There's a Buffalo Wild Wings down the road (Hotel Plaza) at Crossroads Plaza by the Goodings. You can even walk it if you want .. I did last spring for March Madness. (No car, all Disney transportation). It was maybe 20 minutes. Indoor and outdoor TVs

LMAO...Nice "assumption" the Aints will play to go the Super Bowl...! Bounty-Gate !!!

Alas, my Saints didn't play so well today. Or at Seattle.

BW3 is my vote too.... Dont walk though, take a cab for $8:)

Yeah this is what I was thinking too. If you have at least a 1 bedroom, you can cook whatever you want, appetizers...a meal. You can drink all afternoon for a whole lot cheaper. Comfortable room with a nice balcony and surroundings.

I watched the last four Stanley Cups playoffs from the comfort of my room. I'll be at the BC watching my Blackhawks take another this coming June! :thumbsup2

What else is there to do other than watching the NFC Championship Game at Disney? I don't think my team is going to make.:confused3

You might as well just stay in bed all day. Saints didn't do so good today again. And a broken ankle doesn't help the team at all.

LMAO...well I guess this is ONE thing you don't need to worry about this weekend !!! More time to golf instead !
