We're going to be at WDW May 1-5, 2006 with my 2 1/2 year old GD. She's really hooked on the princesses (Cindy is her fav, but also likes Aerial, Aurora, etc.). We were going to try to get breadfast at CRT at the castle, but heard the food isn't the greatest, and it will be requiring 2 sitdown dinner tickets. If she could see and meet the princesses elsewhere, I thought it may be better to do our character breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Your thoughts? Does anyone know where the best places are to meet Cindy and the other princesses? Thks!!!! :confused3

It's been a few years since I had the breakfast at CRT, but I thought the food was very good. The experience of eating in the castle thrilled the 3 little girls that were with me! Each princess came to our table and allowed us to take as many pictures as we wanted. You may could find better food, but I don't think you could top the thrill your little one will get from the magical castle atmosphere!

I was at WDW the first week of May this year with my niece and I found the best time to see Princesses is in Toontown around dinnertime (after 6pm)
Toontown has a princess meet and greet that is very nice! You get to meet 3 princesses - we saw Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. We tried Toontown earlier in the day and it was packed, but we went back a bit after 6pm and the Princess line was only 10 or 15 minutues. If you want NO line, go about a half hour before Wishes.

You can also meet Ariel in her Grotto in Fantasyland across from Dumbo.
Same deal for her, after 6pm seemed a good time, when we went by there was a very short line. I think the younger crowd is either eating dinner or just pooped out by then.

If you go to Epcot, the countries sometimes have the Princesses too. We saw Belle and Sleeping Beauty in France and they were practically by themselves.

We just got back from WDW (10/31 - 11/7) with my 4 1/2 year old who is obsessed with Disney princesses. We went to Restaurant Akershus in Epcot to do the Princess breakfast. She saw 4 of the princesses and was perfectly happy. It was crowded and a little slow but the food was good. We tried to see some more princesses at ToonTown Fair but every time we tried (we tried 4 times and we went off season when the park was not crowded) the lines were about 1 1/2 hours. We didn't do the meal at Cinderella's Castle as Cinderella isn't my daughters favorite and I heard that you don't see as many princesses.

When you enter the park, there is a sheet by the maps that lists where the characters are in the park. You can also find the list and maps in merchandise locations.

We did Cinderella's castle for breakfast and 1500 Park Fare for dinner in July. DD4 loved the castle (so did mom). We saw Aurora, Cinderella, MAry Poppins, Snow White, Belle (blue/white dress), and Fairy godmother. Food was pretty good -they had regular meal or low fat. I wouldn't have traded eating in the castle. It was great. The look on DD face was the best as we were walking up the stairs and the anticipation in her face as the princesses made their way to her.

1900 Park Fare we got to see prince charming and the mice, but we would probably skip that one next time.

We went to the Princess lunch in Epcot a month ago and it was nice. I thought the food was good and we saw Cinderella (surprise!), Jasmine, Ariel (in the lobby), and Belle. No Snow White.

But if you want to skip a meal, your best bet is to hit Toontown first thing when it opens or around dinnertime. You can see three princesses there. My almost-3 year old daughter LOVED Storytime with Belle in MK, which is listed on the Times sheet you get in the park. They have it once an hour during the day. After Belle tells her story (with kids from the audience acting out parts), all the kids who were at the show get their picture with Belle up on stage. It is special and the kids loved it.

We also went to Ariel's Grotto and my daughter loved that. The picture is great because Ariel is a mermaid. I'm sure the lines can get very long, so go on a non-crowded day at MK or early in the morning or at dinner time. It's behind the Dumbo ride.

We have also had good luck seeing Princess Jasmine and Aladdin in Advertureland by the Magic Carpets ride.

At Epcot, you can find Snow White outside in Germany - if you ask anyone who works in the stores in Germany, they can tell you what time she will be there. Princess Jasmine is often around in Morocco and Belle can be found in France at certain times during the day.

I personally liked the interaction more at the Grotto, Storytime and Toonotown than the princess meal, but I haven't done CRT and think my daughter would love to go someday.

You may be better off skipping a princess meal if you want 'Maximum Princess Interaction' because the girls tend to move a little quickly at character meals due to time restraints. But if your goal is to see a lot of princesses at one time then by all means try one of the many dinner options.
Also, you can find the princesses in Toontown, Epcot countries, etc but just remember that the characters are ALWAYS subject to availability and could change at any time. You are not always going to see 3 princesses in Toontown. Belle may not always be in France. It's just the luck of the draw.
You may want to call at the park when you get there to find out who is where but even then, nothing is set in stone. Even at the Breakfasts, lunches, or dinners. Good luck Princess hunting though. :)

All great suggestions from the others :flower:

I just noticed that you said that you are "going to try" to get breakfast... I wanted to mention in case you were not aware, but you can make your ADR's 180 in advance. You can call Monday morning! I'm going to be there May 3-9th and I've made all my ADR's. Good luck - we booked CM, CRT and CP for character meals. :Pinkbounc

I would definitely go to the princess breakfast at epcot in Norway -- in September we show esmeralda, Sleeping beauty, Mulan, Snow White, Jasmine and Belle. Each of which cam to your table took pictures and signed autographs -- it was great plus the food was good especially the cinnamon rolls

For us, CRT was the way to go!! DD4 just loved getting to see all of the princesses together (Cindy, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, Fairy Godmother, and maybe one or two others - I forget) and it saved us sooo much time trying to track them down and stand in lines to meet them. We did have to find Ariel and Jasmine though but no problem. Having breakfast with the princesses is still one of her favorite memories, wouldn't trade it for the world. They didn't spend much time at each table, but it all worked out fine and we got plenty of pictures and each one talked to her a bit. I thought the food was good, but to save on the sit-down meals, the DH took DS's to Disney Quest for the morning rather then them coming and being bored stiff with "girl stuff".

Have fun!
