We will be at the parks starting next week and I am traveling with a 3 year old who LOOOOOVES Elsa and Minnie.

What are the best places to find them in the park for a socially distant visit/photo? And is there a specific time they are out? Or is it just luck?

I've heard Carthay Circle for Elsa - is that right? Thank you!

I see Elsa frequently by the fountain in front of Carthay Circle. I've seen Minnie there also. Minnie is always at her house in Toontown, but that closes on Tuesday for a year.

Does Toontown close next Tuesday or Wednesday? I can’t seem to remember and the app still doesn’t show any ride closures for the toontown rides.

closes Tuesday at close if i remember right. We are getting there thursday, so I guess Carthay Circle is gonna be our best bet. Are there any spots in Disneyland that minnie likes to hang out? Im sure once toontown closes, it could be a different schedule though...

I was going to suggest the Train station for Minnie, too. When we met Elsa & Anna it was when they had a meet and greet at DCA but I think that's long gone.

Isn't there a schedule for when/where characters are going to appear?

Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, Cruella, Max, and a few others rotate at the Main Street Train station at the entrance to the park.

Elsa is most frequently seen at Carthay Circle. She also occasionally appears on Main Street off to the right when you enter the park where the parade used to start/end.

Minnie also appears at that spot on Main Street as well as the train station facing Main Street and Carthay Circle.

I want to add that the Carthay Circle fountain, while it had a rope across so you couldn't get right next to the characters, you can get pretty darn close. Certainly close enough to have a conversation with your daughter.

Elsa was across from the Carthay fountain at Carthay Circle behind the fence and plants last Monday. Minnie was at the fountain several times last weekend, as well as the train station at DLR

We saw Minnie last night at around 10:30 pm by the cherry trees.

Just got back from our trip. We saw Minnie so many times! My daughter was esctatic. We saw her mainly at the train station and at Carthay. We saw Elsa and Anna a few times too at Carthay (around lunch time) and we saw basically all the princesses at either Royal Hall or over by It's A Small World. We bumped into characters all day every day. It really feels like they live there. Altho I was sad she couldnt interact more with them, I'd almost rather they do it this way - when characters are just walking around it feels like you are really in their world and made it all the more real to my kids. They couldnt believe it - stars in their eyes. My heart is full.
