So, probably like most people, I like to go to WDW but I like to also save as much as I can. Of course the tickets can be a huge cost

Just looking for PARK tickets (no Hopper, no Water park) for 6 or 7 days. Ultimately it would be for 5 Adults (okay, 2 parents, 2 adult children 18 and 21 and an 11 year old that has to pay adult price). and the Disney Price for this $1730.65. Would love to find a way to save on this (ideally substantially).

Ideas?

Look at the prices at Undercover Tourist. Not sure if the price you quoted include tax. UTs quotes DO include them. We've used them for the last few trips. If you have a subscription to Mousesavers, their monthly newsletter has a discount code that will give an additional small discount on UTs tickets.

It seems like undercover tourist will get me 5 adults for 6 days at 1679.75 so it does save almost $51.00

I know I can also get a good rate from AAA but their "Website" re-directs to Disney's regular site with their partner ID but there is NO discount. I guess I have to go into the store directly. I have done that before but I don't remember what the price was. Poling around though, I found I can get a discount from my employer as well. I can get the same 5 adult tickets for 6 days at $1522.95 which saves slightly over $207 All prices include taxes and shipping.

If anyone has an idea how to save even more I'd love to hear it.

There isn't any legitimate seller that's going to offer more than a small discount.

Just throwing it out there but you can always use the target gift card trick. I ended up saving about 10% on my tickets, which I bought directly from the Disney website with the Disney gift cards. So you would save like $170.

I thought about that. It looks like I can save over $200.00 through my Corporate Discount. Right now that seems to be the best way to go. I know I was looking at the Target gift card thing for a while... Those people on that thread are crazy over there. (I mean that in a nice way, well mostly :) ) I just haven't been brave enough yet to buy the target gift cards (online) to try and buy the Disney Cards. Maybe... I will have think about it though. Either way, I could still use those cards to pay for our resort.

Double check that corporate site's true final price. When I checked the one through my company it was just about the same, a few dollars more than Undercover Tourist.

I did. That was the price delivered (plus applicable taxes). I think it's a higher discount because our company has provided "Significant" support/donations to Disney. (At least that what my research seems to indicate.)
