best places to eat where I won't feel stupid being by myself?

Oh you are going to have so much fun! I am looking forward to spending the day tomorrow by myself at Disneyland! I am actually taking my daughter down there, but she is meeting up with a friend from out of state. I have been giddy all week thinking about doing whatever I want and all the fabulous people watching!! Have a fabulous time:wizard:

Have fun!! I did my first solo trip this year and I was worried too, but once I got there I had such a great time. I went wherever I wanted to, didn't have to worry about anyone else;-) I did go to Blue Bayou for dinner by myself and it was great. Anywhere I went, I felt completely comfortable and like other people have said, everyone else is having their fun and no one is pointing out the solo people and giggling :rotfl:

Going solo is a great way to chat with other people who are also there solo (I don't mean picking up someone - I'm married ;)), but just chatting with other people who are enjoying their Disney time too :thumbsup2

I would totally do it again.

I think I've seen a bar at Rainforest Cafe where you can order food as well.

Yes you can. And as a solo traveler I have done that. It's isn't as "fun" but the guys at the bar are nice and service is quick. I would also suggest White Water Snacks at the Grand CA, although you might be pestered by the resident cat.

I was at DLR for a solo trip in Aug. I ate lunch at Cafe orleans and dinner at the cove bar. I too am often self conscious about eating by myself, but being at Disneyland I did not care. I just took my camera out and took lots of pictures.
