We have 2 favorite spots. The first is in the hub right in front of the castle. You actually feel the heat from the fire torches & during the show you're actually surrounded by fireworks.....very awesome feeling.
Our second favorite is by the flag pole on Main Street. You have a straight shot at the castle & it's just beautiful.
Other people like to view it in front of IASW, but last trip it was tarped & walled up for the refurb, so we've never experienced from there.

we have only seen the FW show once 2 years ago and we just happened to sit and rest a bit in the hub(an hour before the show) and just continued to *camp* when we saw the schedule. I would def. say it was worth it for us to sit for an hour, we had a park bench (my 10 yo. son fell asleep and slept through the show, LOL) and just kept sending someone out for snax. Yes, the heat from the pyrotechnics was awesome,the music was awe inspiring and the postive exciting energy you get from the people around was incredible.

Agree. This is the best place. Just make sure to get there early as it fills up fast.
