Will be heading to Paris for the Half Marathon next month and I'll have 2 full days in the parks. I would love to see Dreams both nights. Is it true that it takes place at park closing every night? So if the park closes at 8:30 on Thursday it is dark enough for the show? Also, what are good spots for viewing and how early should I stake out a spot. I will be solo on Thursday and with a friend on Saturday? THANKS!!!

You can pick up a booklet with all the parade and show times in it - but as far as I know they run Dreams every night, it does take place at park closing.

it depends how busy it is when you go, September isn't too bad, we sat in front of the Plaza Gardens Restaurant and we saw people staking out a spot for up to an hour beforehand. There's a lot of pyrotechnics in the show and if it's windy the smoke it might be blown your way if you're at the front, but the view from there is really spectacular. If you want to sit at the front then definitely get there at least 45 minutes before the show, if not you'll still get a good view from further back :)

I think the first time you see Dreams, stalking a spot at the very front is worth the wait. For a second view, I like to stay a bit further away, in the center of Main Street near Casey's Corner. One doesn't notice at first sight, but the central hub slopes gently down toward the castle, standing there you'll be higher than people in front of you. That spot is free till the the start of the show, You won't have on a second night to stalk you place. And if someone puts his child on his shoulder (this should be criminal offence, I believe) right in front of you there's enough place to move a couple of steps on the side to still have a good view of the castle.

We saw the show all 3 nights we were there. The last night, rather than fit in another attraction or two, we just went and got a good spot in front of the castle about an hour before Dreams. That was a great spot - people we'rent very crowded and everyone stayed seated throughout the show. It was a very pleasant way to watch Dreams.

The night before, we watched from on Main Street and had the (sadly) typical issues with people in front of us putting kids on shoulders.
