I'm looking to upgrade a PH ticket (plan to get one from UT) to an Annual pass and was wondering where the best place to upgrade it would be. Wasn't sure if there is more luck or easier process at specific park guest relations vs the one at disney springs. I've never done this before so any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

No GR location is better than any other. It all depends on how well-trained the CM you draw is.

I had a feeling that might be the case. I was figuring to try MK since they tend to have the higher volume of people so I imagine they may deal with bridging more often and I may end up with a better trained CM. Another quick question, I saw that UT offered tickets with extra days to which they would say these tickets would have a higher savings. Would those tickets be a better choice to use to upgrade to get more value (i.e. would disney treat a 4 day + 1 extra day as a 5 day ticket for credit or would they see it as a 4 day ticket only), or would it be safer to use a traditional specific day base ticket?

Nope. It will be a 5 day ticket in the Disney system, no matter how UT sells it to you

I do all this kind of thing at Disney Springs. I've had no issues with doing anything there and have always had great CM interaction there. Also it is a more comfortable experience I think.

I bought a 6+1 day hopper from UT this year. Took it into city hall at MK, it was credited as a 7 day ticket and changed to an AP. All pretty quick and painless. :-)

Truth. I was activating an AP at HS and the CM somehow messed up and instead of making end date Dec 2018 they made it Dec 2017 (because it was 2017 so I can see how it could happen). But then she couldn't fix it and I had to go to another location to get someone to fix it. So something that should have taken 5 minutes took 20.

Yep, and since that CM could work somewhere else next time, or a wonderfully trained CM could be working at HS next time, you just can't say X is better than Y.

One item to note is, sometimes Epcot has more CM who's native language is not English and there are times that can delay or slow down what is already a pretty complex task, just because of the communication issues. I know they typically put CM in GS or ticketing positions who communicate well but we have had at least 1 time (recently) where the language difference did cause the transaction to take a bit longer simply because it took me longer to explain what the issue was, in the terms the CM understood. Interestingly this was not at Epcot so really, it can happen anywhere. Just Epcot usually has more than others.
