Best Place to Stay Near Flint (Bishop's) Airport

Anyone know the best motel to stay in for one night in Flint, MI. We are flying out Nov. 7th at 7:00 p.m. so will be going down to do a little shopping, etc. the day before. Last year we stayed at the Red Roof Inn just of I-75 and it was awful. The rooms were too hot and noisy and the beds were as hard as rock.

Would appreciate any info. on any better places to stay in and around that area.

I've never stayed in Flint ... i SEEM to remember passing a Courtyard by Mariott when I've been driving in Flint, but I'm not sure how close to the airport it is.

We stayed at the Econo Lodge right across the street last year, and although it is very convenient and the room was OK, I'm not sure I'd stay there again. The lobby area of the motel was a little seedy and I felt uncomfortable walking around the parking lot.

Check a web site like Expedia. Look for "Hotels Only" and enter Flint with your dates to get a listing of all the available hotels.
