Best place to stay for a group of 9-11 people?

Finally scheduling our next trip back!
This trip will have 6 adults 3 children and then probably 2 more adults joining later in the week. I have been tasked with the responsibility of booking everything.
I have started to weigh my options on where to stay.
1. Onsite in a value resort with 4 rooms
2. Onsite renting DVC points-
3. Staying off site at Windsor Hills in a house.

Does anyone have any suggestions or reviews of the Windsor Hills complex?
I do enjoy staying onsite but I think that WH might be the best bang for our buck and we won't be trampling all over each other. Any advice would be great. Thanks

I'm a DVC owner and I'm really careful inviting friends and family to use my points - its not easy if someone cancels on me. If someone gave me this responsibility, I'd watch cancellation options and make sure whatever you choose, the cancellation penalties are understood by everyone (and you get paid and don't end up with it all on your account). We've taken guests, and we've had two cancellations - both for good reasons (my sister got cancer and we put off the trip with her until she finished chemo - my brother in law died before we took the trip). You get a big trip together with several families - and your chances go up that someone will lose a job, end up making a commitment to traveling baseball, get ill, get pregnant and be too far along to travel, etc.

We do Reunion resort via vrbo.com. Amazing resort. Here is a 6 bd, 4 bath for $250 per night peak season. No taxes or fees. That is less than $23 per person per night if you have 11 folks. That is tough to match on-site. Off season $195 per night.

Thanks! I've always thought I would only stay onsite but the deals to stay offiste for such a large group may just be too good to pass up.
