Best place to stand for parades

Hiya all!

I was just wondering if anyone knows the best place to stand for the parades? I believe there are 2...the main one in disneyland park and one in walt disney studios?

for the parade in the disneyland park lots of people like to stand in fantasyland in the area outside pizzeria belle notte because it is a quieter spot. Last year we stood by the gazebo at the station end of mainstreet. We liked this spot because it is like a small island in the middle of the street and once the parade has started the CM won't let anyone cross the road to get there so there weren't lots of people trying to push in front of us at the last minute. It also made it really easy to get out of the park after the parade too.
