I've had hit and miss experience with Magic Strollers. Back in 2012 I used them without issue. This past March, I used them and the first one they sent me was visibly worn and very difficult to close and had a metal piece sticking through the fabric and into my daughter's side when it was open. I decided not even to use it on the first day because it was so uncomfortable for her. I called the company and the guy told me it was a "known" issue with that model and I should have just pushed the metal back and it would be fine, which I did but it kept popping back up. I told him I was leaving the stroller at the hotel and that I wanted another one delivered, and he said fine. I also asked for a refund of one day, and he said okay. The next one was much newer and worked well for the rest of the trip. I texted multiple times after coming home to make sure the refund would be processed, but never got a response. After a few weeks the refund didn't show on my statement. I emailed them through the website and still didn't get a response, but finally about 6 weeks after getting home, the credit showed up on the bill. Maybe it takes that long to get a refund and I would have gotten it anyway without texting multiple times and emailing, but I did find it annoying that they didn't respond once to any of it. Plus, I didn't like the way they made it seem like the issue should have been handled by me constantly just pushing the metal piece back into place every few minutes when I initially complained.
