Best place to purchase Adult Beverages

I have read that buying beer at the Hess Station is obviously cheaper than buying a 6-pack at the Disney resorts. How does one get to the Hess Station or is there somewhere else that is cheaper/closer to pick some beer up? We unfortunately do not have a rental car.

Take the bus to Downtown Disney. Either walk through the marketplace or stay on the bus to the second stop between PI and West Side, there is a Hess Station right across the street. My husband stocked up a few times on our last trip.

Yes, Animal Kingdom Lodge has some really nice African wines, by the bottle, in the gift shop and at the Mara. I remember getting one once.

i would order from gardengrocer.com . just write in the comments section what kind of alcohol you want. we use them to get cases of water,snacks, breakfast items,etc. too. you can also call them, the number is on their website.

My bf and I had to walk over there buy cigarettes (We quit 7 months ago, thank goodness!! ). It wasn't too bad of a walk. The road is busy, but there are crosswalks for that.

Take a duffel bag with you. It is sturdy to carry stuff in. You may end up buying other things while you are there. They carry a fair amount of stuff. Their ready to eat pizza is great. We usually couple the trip by buying a slice of pizza, hot nacho's and pop go out to curb to enjoy our food then go back in to buy beer, pop and what ever else we want. And we could never have gotten pizza, nacho's and a drink for the dirt cheap price we paid a Hess. I think they also do whole pizza but I may be wrong.

Thanks everyone for the info! Our first night we are scheduled to eat at Raglan Road. I am planning on bringing my empty rolling carry-on and picking up some beer at the Hess Station.
We are not big drinkers however it is vacation and a nice cold beer while sitting at the pool will be lovely! Also, we always enjoy the beer more when it costs less than $13-$15 for a six-pack of budweiser.

Remember when drinking beer at the pool be sure it's in a can no glass bottles allowed. Or take a plastic mug with you.
