Which club would be the best for a newly married couple to spend some time with their drinking age friends? Do any of the clubs play 80's? I hear 8-Traxx does, but only on Thursdays (which would work out wonderfully for us as we're getting married on Thursday August 10th).

Bump! Anyone know?

are you looking for a more club-like atmosphere or something a bit more relaxed? 8 trax does play 80s music on thurs nights and can be a lot of fun. i go to wdw a couple times a year- usually a family trip and then another w/friends. we always spend a few days at pi. is it bad that my brothers and i are known by many of the cast members there- including bartenders, barbacks, security, and foot cart owners? we usually go to motions (plays more top 40 dance music) and 8trax and occasionally bet. we like to dance so we generally go and hang out by the bar and head to the dance floor when we feel like it. there is an irish pub that opened last year- raglan (i think) i haven't been there but would assume that it is more relaxed. mannequins plays techno music and has a revolving dance floor. the adventurer's club is entertaining and is more "interactive". i have not been there in a very long time so i can't comment further. the rock n roll beach club has rock bands often and is very big. you can dance on one floor or hang out on the others. this place does not get too crowded so we'll usually go there for a drink or two to relax. i guess it all depends on what you are looking for. i think that is why we like pi. you can go to whichever place you are in the mood for that night. fyi- thurs (and i believe mon) are cast member nights at pi so it gets pretty crowded. have a great time and congrats on the upcoming marriage!!!!!!!!

I went to PI a few years ago...most of the dance clubs were quite lame. The one club I did enjoy was The Adventurers Club. It is not a dance club, it is hard to explain, it's a comedy club, but the characters interact with you, and it's theme is 1920's world explorers. When we were there, a young lady was having her bachelorette party there. It was a fun place, and quite entertaining. :sunny:

:thumbsup2 I also love Adventurers Club, but if you are looking for dancing then, 8Trax, in which you are correct Thurs. is 80's music. Also, we like the Rockin Roll Beach Club!!!!! :woohoo: They have live bands, which are very good! At least everytime we went they were great bands! They play a variety of different rock music! Also, Mannequins is awesome, it is a cool club, the floor rotates and they have great special effects. But, they play mostly tecno like music, so if you like that type of music then that would be the place for you. Have fun!!!!!!! :wave2:

Adventurer's Club if you're looking for an interactive Disney experience; otherwise, I'd go to Rockin Roll Beach Club.
