Best place to get deal on Hoppers in November?

We're tentatively planning a trip to Disneyland from Wed. Nov 18 - Sat. Nov. 21. 2009 My family lives in Northern California (the Bay Area), and we'll be joined by my in-laws from the East Coast.

Any thoughts on where would be the best place to get deals on hopper tickets at that time of year? I'm thinking ideally I'd like a 3-day Hopper, since we will probably get in on Wednesday afternoon and would like to be able to visit the park that evening. However, we may be able to get away with a 2-day Hopper.

I know, for instance, that Safeway sometimes does the "Everyone Plays at the Kids' Price" promotion, but I'm not sure if that will be available at that time of year. We're also Costco members, but right now that deal seems to be about turning a 3-day trip into a 5-day one, which unfortunately we won't be able to do! Another option is that my sister is an Orange County resident and an AP holder, but I don't believe that there are any Hopper deals available to SoCal residents?

Any thoughts? I'm sure I'll be asking for more wisdom from DIS Boarders in planning our trip. Already I learned about the HoJo Entertainment discount. Woo hoo! Thanks!

Are you going to be visiting some other attractions around So Cal? If so, you can check out the So Cal Citypass if you are planning to visit the San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, and Universal as well as DL and DCA. I don't know if Costco still sells them but when we bought them from there a couple of years ago it saved us a lot of $.

"Everyone plays at kids price" is usually in the spring (march-april). And the 5 for 3 isn't just a costco thing, but it ends in September anyways. They haven't announced any promotions for the fall yet. The best deals without promotions are usually online at Disneyland.com. You can always do it a few days before you go and get e-tickets to your email and print them.

Arestravel.com has pretty good prices on park hoppers......about $25- 30 off gate price.

Thanks for the tips. Sounds like my best strategy is to just wait awhile and see if there are any special deals as our trip gets closer.
