When returning from WDW, where can I fill up so that my tank is full when I return at MCO?

they have gas stations close to them.

but I would fill up at WDW - Kess is probably one of the cheapest around and they are at WDW.

then fill up at one gas station close to them.

ARRIVE EARLY....I had problems - there was several things wrong with the car - but the stupid person was only interested in the gas tank - it told him it was half full - it wasn't - he was so....anyway after trying 3 times to put gas in it and it, of course, reusing by coming back out.

he called a mechanial....

they finally let me go - by then - they had used up an HOUR of my time - we got to the airport in time - but I also plan on this type of thing happening.

the thing that really got me upset - was neither were listening to my complaints...

We too, top it as much as we can at Hess, before leaving Disney, and alwyas show a full tank at National, when we get there...dispite a couple of "short cuts" twice.

Be careful...I have had rental cars that would definitely be below Full if I filled up at WDW. To be safe, I recommend taking 417 and exiting at Boggy Creek. Instead of turning left to the airport, turn right and keep going till you come to the Circle K. Their price is usually quite reasonable.

Alamo through Priceline.

I had originally reserved through Alamo, because they had the best price I could find. But after reading so many overwhelmingly negative reviews here about their service, I decided to cough up a few extra bucks and go with budget. I ended up finding a coupon that made that deal better than Alamo's anyway.

So far so good for us, and we have a rental in Disney 4-5 times a year, and if the kids are with us, 2 rentals. We always use National, and it's always a full refull (past the click). Been doing this for years. We have even had suv's, with no problem. You do want to be sure it's returned filled, of course, since they sooo overcharge you.

Consider filling up the night before, so you only have to pay for a little gas at exorbitant prices if you don't have time to top off before returning.

Returning via I-4 East (watch green signs carefully as you leave Disney) get on Bee Line (528), get off Bee Line Exit 9 Tradeport, left at bottom of ramp, get into left lane, cross under and reasonably cheap gas station is right there. Leaving gas station, don't cross back under but instead get into middle lane heading away from Bee Line and take required right onto McCoy. About one mile later passing Payless along the way is Semoran Blvd. Right for airport entrance, or turn left for Hertz and Thrifty.

Check out this link... a map of all gas stations around MCO.

Here is the map... the Circle K is #1 on the map.

I've always filled up before leaving WDW and never had a car below full. I usually use the BW Hess. Ironically, the WDW stations have a much lower price than those on 535.

I've been told, by Alamo car rental, that gas receipts may be checked and that if you fill up at WDW your tank will not be considered full.

I've done the Boggy Creek station. It feels like its kind of out of the way, but if you look at the map in Post#13, its gas station #1, and its better than other choices.

We have rented 3 times from National in the past year (most recently March). Filled up at the Hess in Disney (once near BW, twice near DD) just before heading to the airport. Still shows full when we got to the airport. DO NOT buy gas near the hotels near the aiport. VERY EXPENSIVE!

We always fill up on property, never had a problem. We've rented from Alamo two of our last 3 trips.
