What's the most family friendly place to eat supper on the Boardwalk (TS or CS)?

I would have to say either Spoodles...or ESPN Zone. Both had a lot of families when we ate at each!

Would get our vote good food and service,we like ESPN but it is a little to loud for us.:goodvibes :goodvibes

Definitely ESPN zone for family friendly they don;t take ADR's but the wait has always been bearable for us

We're thinking of trying Spoodles for our Sept. trip. Is it not family friendly? I have an 8 yo DD, who is pretty mature and a bit of a foodie. I don't know much about Spoodles, but thisc comment has me wondering.

I would say Spoodles, ESPN or Cape May Cafe which is a character meal right across the way at the Beach Club. Or Beaches n cream at Beach.

:lmao: EVERY TIME you ask my 6 yo DD where she wants to eat it's !!!!!!!! S P O O D L E S !!!!!!!! (even here at home that is the answer we get) My 14 yo DD has starting adding her voice to this cheer as well...My DS could care less b/c he just wants chicken nuggets or pizza and ice cream..... :rotfl2:

Spoodles and ESPN are both great. The bakery is great for desserts, too.

-Chelle's DD who is too lazy to go up to her computer and post this on her account, tinkerbellblondie19

Dh would think he'd died and gone to heaven if we eat at the ESPN zone! :rotfl: But are there things to keep the kids occupied as well?

Definitely avoid the Big River Brewery. Clearly our worst meal of the whole trip, disappointing food, incredibly loud atmosphere, and my daughter "lost" her dinner later that night. Not a good first night of the trip!

MY DH loves the place and especially the hot wings, they are really good. I think the kids would enjoy it as well.

We ate at Spoodles this past September and we didn't really like it that much. The atmosphere was cool and waiting in the candy shoppe was the best for the children. Check the menu's from allears if you get a chance. It was the most difficult place for my DS(13) to choose from. He was choosing form the adult menu and didn't really like the choices.

We'll be eating at ESPN zone on our MGM park day this time.

I'd probably say ESPN. But when I was a kid, I loved going to the Flying Fish with my family. You can see the people working in the kitchen. I've always had aspirations to be a chef, so I found this amazing as a kid. They even invited me back into the kitchen, and they showed me some stuff. Now not all kids are seafood fans, but if they are, it's a good restaurant.

We all enjoy Spoodles and find it to be family friendly. I would check the menu before deciding though since it might not be to everyone's taste. DD has learned that the wood fired kebabs are excellent but the harissa has a real bite to it! She orders without harissa now. ESPN is good too but really a different kind of place. I don't like that they don't do ADR's. The last time we went DD and DH thought that they wanted to see the Red Sox and the Yankees play. The restaurant hostess told us there was no way of estimating how long until we would get a table since people tended to just stay until the game was over ordering drinks and stuff. We went into the bar and I waited until I saw a group who looked like they were leaving and then "hovered" until I could grab their table! You can order the full menu in the bar and I think we got a table much quicker this way.

I believe that there is an arcade area in the back. The entire complex is entertaining. There are even TV's in the bathroom stalls!!

Spoodles! Spoodles! Spoodles! Our whole family loved this place. The food was great and I am looking forward to returing to Spoodles this year.
