Best place to eat for 13 months olds?

We will be going to Disney in April and bringing my 13 month old twin boys. We would like to do a a couple character meals, what would be the best ones for this oge? We were thinking of the Donald Duck one in Animal Kingdom and The Crystal Palace in The magic Kingdom.

Chef Mickeys is great! We took my DD when she was 14 mos. She loved it. Crystal Palace is good, but the food was not as good to me. The atmosphere is at Chef Mickeys is better to me. Much more of the party atmosphere. If your sons like Pooh you might want to consider CP.

I would do either Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace.

I thought Donalds was overrated, it was hard to get to for breakfast, the hot buffet was cold and a limited selection compared to the others.

We had a 8:10 PS at Donalds on an EE day and were not allowed to enter the parking lot until 8am. The toll booth were closed and the CM that I spoke to said that I needed to wait with everyone else. (I was there at 7:30 to make sure that we were ontime. We ended up late at Donalds and felt rushed by our server to eat and leave. The characters were rushing thru the room, bairly enough time to get a photo.

Both of our experiences at CP and CM's were great with good character interaction and not once did we feel rushed. The food at both was hot and varied.

You also might want to consider 1900 Park Fare at the GF. IMO the food is the best there of any breakfast buffet, they have an omelet station where you can get made to order omelets. The characters aren't the most popular (last week we had Pooh, Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter, and Belle) but we had a great time. It is usually much less crowded than Chef Mickey's and therefore easier to get a PS as well, and therefore also more character interaction time than at other places. We took our 6-mo DD and the characters spent loads of time with her.

For lunch we like the CP, the food is very good and a lot cheaper for lunch than dinner!
