Best place to buy tshirts for transfers?

I'm looking for nice, soft tshirts that are reasonably priced. I'd also like to be able to do matching sets for the whole family, from the preschoolers to the adults.

I've found some at JoAnn's Fabrics. They can usually be found on sale for 4/$9 and come in adult and children's sizes. I've also found some at Dollar Tree, but that's hit or miss.

I'm not sure about softness or price, but I see them in Hobby Lobby in the craft section. Near the craft paints, tie dye paints and such.

I know that when I'm looking for good shirts, I try to find the Comfort Colors (Hanes?) And I can usually find them at places that make custom shirts, embroidery or screen printing, that kind of place.

Check out Jiffy Shirts dot com. They have great prices and quick shipping plus toddler - 6x sizes. A white heavyweight adult fruit of loom shirt runs you less than $2 last I checked.

If I need quite a few, they are always the way to go.

If I just need one of two, I normally pick them up at Joann's or Michael's.

We're a family of 6 (plus my parents). I'm looking to make a couple of matching sets for the whole family, and a couple of sets for the kids, so I will need a few. I will check out Jiffyshirts, but Joann's or other craft places are my backup, I'm just not necessarily impressed with the comfort level of their shirts, so hoping to find something a little softer.

Keep in mind that jiffy does not have a customer service department reachable by phone and I am pretty sure they are based in Thailand. I found this out the hard way when I had a problem with an order and I could not contact anyone. I now order from cheapestees.

I like Walmart t-shirts (mens section). They run around $5 each but they have a nice variety of bright colors and large sizes. As my group is all adults I didn't check the kids section so not sure if they have them for children.
