Hello all. There's always talk about strollers on this board, so hopefully you all can help me. Our baby is due later this Spring, and I want to buy a lightweight stroller to supplement the Peg Perego GT3 jogging stroller that I already bought.

I'm pretty sure that I want to get a Maclaren Quest (good weight, decent recline, etc) Can you recommend where to get a great deal? Thanks. :)

We have purchased three Volos on ebay (babyproductstore, I think).
I have seen several others here who used the same seller.

We went to BabiesRUs to try out the different strollers before buying online.

You can always check Craigs List - that's where my daughter found hers.

Babies R Us sells them and I would test one out there before buying. Plus there are monthly discount coupons that can be used, just pick one up at the register and wait a week or two for it to be good. You could also look on MacClearan's website to see if they list the retailers in your area who sell their strollers.

We looked at the Volo's and Phil and Ted twin strollers and purchased the P&T at Great Beginnings (in VA). There were a ton of strollers to try out and the prices were reasonable. HTH.

We just got a Maclaren Quest from Babies R Us. It was on clearance for $167, and then we had a 25% off coupon - so it was about $139 after discount w/ tax. We were thrilled. (We had actually found our older Maclaren Triumph at BRU as well, on clearance with a coupon - may be worth calling around to see if any BRU have them on clearance near you).

We got our Maclaren Twin Triumph at Homegoods. I've seen Maclarens at Marshall's/Homegoods stores at times - it seems to be hit or miss, but you could try to call around and see who has them.

Same here :)

Another vote for ebay here. We did this same thing this past summer and got a great deal on a brand new Volo from this seller.
Their inventory changes constantly so check often until you find what you want.

We got our techno xlr on ebay. We got it for an amazing price. I vote for ebay too!

Ebay, again! There are sellers there that sell new ones, that are last year's colors for great prices.
I had a great experience and felt like I got an incredible deal.:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. It looks like eBay is the place to buy it.

Any pros/cons with the Maclaren Quest? I'm looking at the Techno now as well, since it looks like it reclines a lot more. This is going to be a secondary stroller for our baby (due in May) to supplement a Peg Perego GT3 jogging stroller.

I got a 2006 Quest in 2008 on sale from Albee baby. I love ordering from Albee because they have great customer service and their orders come REALLY fast.

I really like the quest. I order eda liquid holster for a cup holder which really makes it the perfect stroller. It is easy to open, close and drives like a dream. It is really comfy for the child. My oldest DD loved it, and I look forward to using it with DD2 who should be outgrowing her pumpkin seat and snap and go soon. I highly recommend the quest.
