Where is the cheapest place to purchase a 10 day Park Hopper? Is it still undercovertourist.com ?

I plan on purchasing the ticket, then convert it to an AP. I am buying the tickets then converting due to the AP in order to be able to make FP+ reservations and I cannot any reservations until I activate the AP in person.

That is not correct. When you buy an AP you will be given a voucher # to link to MDE that will allow you to make FP+ ahead of time but you will have to activate it when you get to DW. The whole reason to buy a ticket ahead of time from a discount seller instead of an AP from Disney is to take advantage of price bridging not because you can't make advance FP.
