HI, was looking at booking the 4/3 package for February, and was wondering where to get the best price.
CAA is quoting me the exact same as Disney, for a 7 night Moderate resort, with Magic your way base ticket $1370 US funds for the 3 of us 2 adult and DD( age 11) ,
just hoping to find a better deal somewhere?

Haven't booked air yet either ,waiting for prices to drop!

thanks!
Lauren

Where are you coming from? Also I think CAA is a little more expensive.

Hi, I just booked through CAA. I did the same thing checking 3 different places they all gave the same price, includeing Disney. We booked last year through CAA, and they were great so we decided to go back through them.

Hi, We are coming from Saskatchewan, ( or maybe out of Calgary if it is cheaper)

I was kinda dissappointed because I thought CAA(AAA actually( would be cheaper than booking direct with Disney

Yes, the 'Play for 7, Pay for 4' deal is the same price no matter who you book through. Disney doesn't allow travel agents to discount their vacation packages to be fair to all of their travel agent partners.

It's nice because it gives me the option to book with whom I want to book with based on service and level of Disney knowledge, instead of booking based on price :)

Disney has it's own tour operator; The Walt Disney Travel Company. So they wouldn't offer a 'better' deal to CAA/AAA when those travel agents book through Disney to book your vacation anyhow.

Yes that makes sense , guess I will stick with CAA,and hope the airline prices drop!

Have you seen the USD today tho?? Final payment will be in USD with the WDTC?:confused3

I booked through www.themagicforless.com While their prices were the same initially, what sold me on them (they are a Disney Approved travel agency) was that they check constantly for you and apply any discounts that come along FOR you.

Ie, I booked before the 4-3 deal came out. My agent tried to apply that to our vacation, but for various reasons, it didn't apply. As a consolation though, Disney approved deeply discounted park tickets, so our total price went down $1500!!

We also got some neat freebies from them for using their services....Travel Guide Mike free (or whatever it's called), some special luggage tags etc....

As it would with CAA/AAA, so what's the difference? :confused3

I've heard horror stories from people who booked through other tour operators such as Nolitours and the like for a Disney vacation. So I could care less if booking with Disney direct cost me a bit more on an exchange rate, seeing as it's not a fixed rate, but hey that's just me. :upsidedow

Well what I meant was that who knows come final payment time where the USD will be in exchange?

I am a big WDTC supporter..I booked my DD and I for this Dec just a couple of weeks back. Now I am adding DH to the rez for a few days and feeling the pinch of the rate let me tell you!
