Hello Everyone!! First post here!

My DH and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon last year and want to go back in Sept of this year. I've gotten package prices from the Disney website, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on the best places to look for deals on packages.

We want to stay on-site, with the MYW plus Dining package. Any good places to check?

Thanks a million!

You could check out mousesavers.com for deals. If you belong to AAA, you could also get a price from them (they get a discount on the room portion of the package). Also, Dreams Unlimited (this site) and Small World Travel could give you a price and they are Disney specialists.

Are all of those places you mentioned a part of Disney or are they separate companies? I would love to find a great package deal somewhere.

the prices are controlled and regulated... no matter where you go, the prices will be similar, the packages will be similar. There is no such thing as deep discounts at WDW. Repeat visitors sometimes get offers in the mail... but that is for lucky repeat visitors. There are ways to save a few bucks here and there, but you will find it is just that, a few bucks... like you can save $10 on 10 day park hoppers... but when you go that route, pulling everything together at the lowest price, you run the risk of what happens if?

When you book a package deal, it is a one stop shop, and if anything goes wrong, it is one stop to fix it. I am very frugal, downright cheap... and spending an extra $50 to get a package vs. doing it all myself is worth it to know that I am one phone call, or a stop at guest services to get it fixed.

Since you mention that you want the dining plan, you're basically looking at getting your tickets as part of the disney package; there's no point in considering any of the 3rd party ticket brokers (and as another poster has already mentioned, it's only a couple bucks at the end of the day, it's not a huge savings at all)

You can pick whatever Travel agent you want to work through, or do it yourself, but the cost will be very nearly the same. (AAA is a possible exception for discounted room rates, though I'm not sure if this carries over to packages as well)

Good luck!

Orbitz has $-off coupon codes sometimes so keep an eye out for those. They have one right now for $150 off 5-night packages (150FAMILY) but it's only for travel through the end of May. Other than that, from my research AAA is the best bet.
