On the day we leave we will have extra counter service meals we will need to use. What place would be a good option to get some to go meals that will travel. We are driving so I was hoping to grab a few meals we could put in the cooler and eat later in the day.

I would suggest Earl of Sandwich at DTD. They have alot of very good sandwichs and yummy desserts that you could take with you.

I second Earl of Sandwich. Last year, DH and I had a couple of CS credits left over. We headed to Earl after check-out, had lunch there and picked up sandwiches for the road.

BTW - the brownie at Earl is FABULOUS!!!:thumbsup2

I think a lot of CS at hotels have subs in the fridge. They weren't anything special but it it's a quick purchase and we buy them for our off-park days and for the plane ride home.

I third Earl of Sandwich. I think these sandwiches are a lot nice than the subs at the resort and they wrap them well for travelling. If you can't get to Downtown Disney in the timeframe you have then the ones at the resort are a great back up option but its worth trying to get there as these are made to order so fresher

We have time for downtown Disney, We will be checking out Earl. Thank you all for your help.

What do you get with the dining plan at EoS.

Sandwich
Drink
Dessert

or what constitutes a meal?

Do chips come with your sandwich, if so can you sub soup instead?

We are thinking of Dinner here our first night and I've only ever done OOP.

A meal is a sandwich, drink, and chips OR desert. I'm not sure about subbing soup. The food is good and cheap. It's not really a good value for a CS credit though, but a great value OOP.

We'll have CS to burn as we plan on doing 'lunches' and one 'dinner' at F&W and then a couple of Signature dining evenings, so we are more interested in food at the CS level that we like than if they are the best value.

I love the EoS meals I've eaten before so I just figured it'd make a good first night dinner. The truth is that we will probably split a sandwich anyway so we'll really only use one credit for 'a meal' and split it, then I'll just buy a bowl of soup, which I love there, OOP.

Thanks.

Another vote for Earl of Sandwich ... we were in Orlando in April for a cruise out of PC and went to DD JUST for sandwiches there LOL

Wolfgang Puck Express! IMHO the best use of a counter service credit evah!!!

Can you easily pack up wolfgang puck though? From the looks of the menu most stuff should be eaten fresh shouldn't it?

I was curious too. Wolfgang looks great but it sounds like it needs to be eaten fresh.
