Best place for picture of kids at disney

Hi.. i want to hopefully get a good picture of my 3 kids (10,9,5) to take at our disney vacation for the Christmas pictures i send out with my Christmas cards this year.... we are going mid-oct..... i'm not sure that i will get a good picture of them with a "live" character so, is there any colorful statues of characters (preferable mickey) that people can pose with and take a picture?? or any other suggestions...?? thanks

At the entrance to the DTD marketplace, tucked into a corner on the left as you walk in from the buses there is a christmas themed statue with 3 characters. I *think* its Goofy, Mickey, and Donald, but I'm not positive. It would make a great photo for your christmas cards.

I have found that most places in Disney make good photos! It must be the magic.

I agree with winniedapooh anyplace would be great. We use a picture from one of the entrances of all of us. Everyday we get one taken and after a few days we get one good one of the family.

the minnie golf is right at Blizzard Beach. yes the statue at downtown is really cute for xmas picture. We also gat a picture every year outside the xmas store at mgm. its kinda beside mama melroses before pizza planet. of course it is a SNOWMAN but we had friends that sent that picture out for their cards one year. its really really cute.............

Carol - the picture with Sorcerer Mickey at MGM is really great - it's inside and you stand in line for your turn, so you can take the time to pose your kids - they'll take a professional picture, but you can take one, too (and there's no 'strangers' walking through your picture!). We check out the picture before we leave the park - so far they've been so awesome that I've always had to buy them !

It's just past 'Millionaire' walking towards the back of the park.

We take the kids' picture there every year!! We use either that pic or a pic of them in front of the castle and the Walt/Mickey statue for our Xmas cards. Oh...I think I've even used a pic of them in front of the snowman at the Christmas shop in MGM -- if I remember right it's around the corner from Pizza Planet.
