Best place for Fish & Chips

Which is better for fish & chips, Rose & Crown or Raglan Rd? I've eaten them at Rose & Crown and liked them, but am trying to decide if I should try a new place. Thanks for your opinions.

neither is particularly spectacular- but i prefer raglan road. In addition, i like the atmosphere there and the bread and butter pudding is to die for.

Used to love Rose & Crown, but over the last few years it seems to me that the portions have gotten smaller. Still good, but now you get two smallish pieces of fish and lots of chips. You can't beat the location though!

Everything else we ordered at Raglan Road was GREAT but my DS's fish and chips were soggy and flavorless.

We thought the fish and chips from the carry out place at U.K. were marginally better but still not very good.

Another vote for Ragland Road. Loved the way the food was presented. Entertainment was really, really good and the restaurant/bar is beautiful.

I haven't been in a while but last time I was there Columbia Harbor House in MK had good fish.

haven't had the best, but the absolute WORST was at the ABC Commissary at DHS!

haven't tried the ones at Raglan Rd. (it's on the ADR list for my trip in 2 weeks! ) but the ones at Rose & Crown are the best I've had on property...I've heard that the ones from the take out place next door to R&C are the same but I didn't like them as well for some reason. The ones at Columbia Harbor House would be at the bottom of my list -- not at all impressed with those.
