I'm taking my two boys to WDW for their birthdays. They will be turning 4 and 2. I've already booked a character breakfast but was wondering if anyone could recommend a a restaurant that might offer a fun dinner experience for them. TIA.

I actually recently celebrated my 21st birthday at Crystal Palace for dinner with Pooh and friends. That's a great place for someone of any age to celebrate! It's a buffet, so there's bound to be something for everyone on the menu, they bring you a birthday cupcake and card from Pooh and friends, AND there's really good character interaction. At one point during the dinner, they get all the kids up there to march around the restaurant with Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet as they sing and dance. It's really cute.

You may also want to look into Chef Mickey's or Liberty Tree Tavern. But I like Crystal Palace the most.

Yes the crystal palace is a great place to go for birthdays!! when i went in agust it was my brothers 14th brithday and they brought him a cup cake, a crown, a card, and a place mate all the people sing happy birthday to u and so do the charecters!!

I had my 34th at Chef Mickeys, the food was awful but the characters were awesome! They decorated the table with birthday placemats and confetti and balloons. They waiter had our section of the room sing Happy Birthday to me.

I think that Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys are great places to go to celebrate a b-day. Any place with characters, should be great, but I would especially recommend Chef Mickey's. It has a very "friendly" atmosphere and the kids should really like it. It is like a party almost every time I've gone to Chef Mickey's. I hope this helps, and have a GREAT trip!!!!!!

My DD 13th birthday was celebrated at Ohana's for breakfast....so cute...the table was decorated with confetti...they gave her a card and a signed pic of mickey...and a cupcake with a candle....stitch even came over to light the candle for her and sing happy birthday. Lunch was at CRT...also great...table was decorated...got a special birthday slipper for dessert and sang happy birthday!! Dinner at Hoop De Doo...they did the group happy birthday thing there...it was cute...we got a table in the front row which was great!! I think mostly anywhere would make their days special!! It is Disney World...after all!!! :cheer2:

WCC! They make a big deal about birthdays there! I vote there or Chef Mickey's!

I had a question about this too, were are going for MNSSHP and my ds will be turning 4 on Halloween! We were going to eat breakfast at Ohana's and dinner at Chef Mickey's before the party.

I love the idea that they do extra special things for birthdays, but do you have to request this when you make ADR's or is it noted on your original reservation? I know they always ask us if we are celebrating anything special, but I can't remember if they do when they take ADR's.

If anyone has any extra special ideas, please help me out! This is our first birthday out of town and I have no idea how this is going to work out!

I think any TS will gladly give your boys a bit of speccail treatment on their B/ day (s):goodvibes Choose a place where you'll like the food, and have fun:banana:

Just this week I booked birthday ADR at CRT for my wife. Although her birthdate is actaully a week after our trip, the trip is to celebrate her birthday because we can't go the next week due to Fall Break schedule for our son. Anyway, I told the CM about the birthday when I booked it so supposedly, they will have something special. I say that because last year I had requested a birthday celebration for my mother-in-law when I booked ADR at LTT, but it was not noted on the reservation. They did come up with a cake though, even at the last minute.

Can you request birthday celebrations at each of your TS for the entire trip on different days or will they catch on and not let you?

I'll be there the week of my birthday and it would be fun to get special :bday: somethings at each of the TSs.

We've never had a problem with celebrating a birthday other than the actual day itself. They'll never ask for verification, but I always explain that we are celebrating the occasion, even if a week or so earlier than the offical day.

My son's birthday celebration was at Garden Grill. It was wonderful. We got a cake for our dessert (no extra charge) that was delivered by Dale, a signed card, and lots of character interaction. We plan to celebrate my daughter's birthday at 1900 Park Fare this Nov. I hope it is as wonderful as his!

We're doing my little one's 2nd birthday at the Play & Dine with the Little Einsteins- because that's his favorite Disney show! Can't WAIT!

We did our dd's 4th birthday at Chef Mickey last year and she SPECIFICALLY asked for it again this year! They sing to the birthday child, decorate the table, etc. They do a good job of making the birthday girl/boy fee special!
