I recommend Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk. It's a dueling piano bar (21 and over) and ALOT of FUN!!My friend and I will be in orlando for 2wks in may next yr and it will be the first time that we will be both over 21. Apart from pleasure island and city walk, Were are the best places to go on a night, Pub clubs etc.....

Can't answer your questions about PI...Any covercharge at Jellyrols or Atlantic Dance Hall? Also, I have noticed some posts about an additional 5 nights at PI for 5 bucks but they were from January 06. We will be there in Jan 08. Does anyone know if they still do the additional nights for 5 bucks?
My wife and I are Mid 30's and will be in Disney without the kids. We plan on doing epcot one day, but the rest of the week is up in the air. We plan on going out nights (House of Blues, maybe citywalk, etc) and just "bumming around" !! Cant wait!!!
Howl at the Moon is a dueling piano bar and the crowd is always so energetic and so much fun. The atmosphere there is pretty crazy! It is similar to Jellyrolls but we really prefer Howl at the Moon.
The Blue Martini is a great bar/nightclub and I don't feel it is touristy at all. It is mostly young, professional locals looking to unwind. It is kind of upscale (most people are dressed very nice) but it is so much fun and the martinis are amazing!
For a more relaxed and affordable experience with people your own age, consider the Alehouse, at 535 and Palm Parkway. More of a restaurant during the day, it becomes more of a pub as the night wears on, with music and a ton of people in their 20s (mostly WDW cast members and College Program interns). No cover, cheap drinks.
Thanks a bunch for all the ideas! We will have to try Howl at the Moon for sure, especially since we are staying just south on I-Drive at the Grande Vista...
Hopefully we can survive and stay up a few nights!! At our age it's getting tough to do!!
Most people are dressed nice because there is a fairly strict dress code.Honestly I don't know that "young" is the first word I'd use to describe the crowd--well, maybe the trophy wives--but it is very upscale. Usually a cover as well, I think $5.
I go with a bunch of friends on "Ladies Night" and the crowd is actually pretty young.
