Best Photographer for MK Photo Shoot??

Today I spoke with Rosie from DFTW to set up my apt for my MK Photo Shoot. She said each photographer has a distinct personality and way of shooting photographs. If I find a really good photographer through word of mouth I can request him. Im looking for one that is willing to go out of his way to get those "Special shots"- as I am sure we all are. What did you all think of your photographers.... please include names ...

Also, what have you all decided to do about the crane? Rosie insisted that the pictures would look as though they were never working on the crane at all. I sure do hope so..

She did mention though, in case anyone was wondering... Mid September through early December would be mostly just painting the castle (The same color just to brighten it up, no different colors will be used so it wont affect the pictures)

Request Ty for your photographer! I can't think of his last name at the moment. I'm sure he's the only Ty! My DH and I just loved him!! He's so sweet and nice! We had great conversation and he has a few tricks up his sleeve! He gave us a special tour and a few other special magical moments! We still talk about him!

I just wanted to say to not let it get you down if you do not get the photographer you requested. I'm sure Disney will try their best but there is still a big chance they won't be able to accomdate your request.

You're right, can't hurt to ask, and I "third" the vote for Ty! We didn't do the MK shoot, but he was our wedding photographer and was fantastic

we had the MK shoot the same Morning as our VR and had him for both
5:30am MK Shoot 8:00am VR

We had David for our wedding photos (didn't do the MK shoot) and he was fabulous! He was so much fun to work with and added so much to our day! I sent the PTB in Disney many kudos for David!!

I will certainly be contact Rosie to request Ty. Are there certain poses I should ask for- extra special ones? Did he go above and beyond for you all with locations or poses? About how many pictures were taken in all? If there are any "secrets" that should get out to just everyone.. haha, you can PM me with locations of great shots. Thanks everyone...

Yes, he was super nice! He kept talking about how his job is getting him into trouble now because his daughter always wants to see the pictures of the weddings and she is now going to want a Disney Wedding! She is only a teen now.

kimysbug: So you can do an MK Photoshoot if you're having a Vow Renewal? I thought VRs and Engagements weren't eligible,only weddings were - this changes everything!

I'm sure you can for a vow renewal! It is technically a wedding, but no for an engagement. You have to have a wedding package and a vow renewal is the same thing.
