best pet souvenir

I got my Maggie (miniature shih tzu) a Mickey Pants squeaky toy and a tin of treats at the Fire Station in MK. I got her a white squeaky Mickey Mouse glove and some more treats at the DTD Store, and at Pet Tails in DTD I got her a really cute Princess leash, Princess hat, and Princess bandana all to match. The leash and bandana are light pink and say Princess all over them in hot pink letters and the hat is light pink with a hot pink and silver crown embroidered on the front along with the word PRINCESS. I also got her a pair of red Minnie Mouse hair clips at Pet Tails. Can you tell I missed her while I was in WDW?

She loved everything, except the Princess hat. It looks like a beret and has little loops that her ears go through , then the loops are pulled tight under her chin and tied. It looks adorable, but she hates it and won't leave it on. The red Minnie Mouse hair clips are adorable with a metal Minnie Mouse in the middle of red polka dot bows, with metal clips on the back. They stay in surprisingly well and she has yet to find a way to scape them off. She's gets compliments every time she wears them. Good luck shopping for your fur baby.

our katy is also a beagle. Do the shirts fit your beagle good. Sometimes I find that since beagles tend to be ' slightly ' heavy :dog2: Katy isn't to heavy ( about 31 lbs ) the shirts pull across their chests.

We always get Beasley Beagle a bigger size. You know how the sizing guides always claim Beagles take a medium? My beagle ALWAYS takes a large! :teeth:

Anyway, the large fits her just fine, she is a bit hefty also!

My girl bailey with her minnie ears and stuffed mickey.

Has anyone seen a Stitch plush toy at this store? Our Boston Terrier reminds us alot of Stitch...we think they might be related. ;) I thought I saw someone post once that they had a Stitch toy for their dog. :paw:

I got those Mickey ears for my Gabby (Yorkie) in March. Since she cannot go back with us next month, I am taking a picture of her in them and my life size stuffed animal of her wearing them!! My DH thinks I am crazy, but hopefully that will help the pain of separation some.

Last year we got a dog collar but what else is there besides the usual bowl.

What shop has the best selection.

We love our bowls we brought back for our Maltese. They say "There's Magic In Every Bite" inside with a picture of the Castle and the outside is brownish with the faces of many Disney dogs on it. Is this the usual bowl? We bought them at the WL mercantile. :flower:

Great Info! As if our Maximus is NOT the most spoiled dog on the planet already...he surely will be after we get home from Disney in December. I figure it's the least we can do since he's not getting to go to Disney. :goodvibes

kathymc- great pic of your baby with her Minnie ears and doll! I don't know if we'd ever get ours to sit still that long! :dog:

Awesome thread!! We just got a black lab puppy in June and you guys have given me some great ideas. I think Hines is going to get a lot or presents during our October trip!! :paw:

Oh, one question, how durable are the chew toys--plush and plastic? Hines is a chewer (of course, he's a lab :dog2: ) and needs really durable toys. Last week he ate a Nyla bone that's supposed to last for days in a matter of minutes.

FYI - we got Jazzy her collar and one water bowl (the blue Pooh one) at WDW.

however I got her mickey pants/hands squeak toys and another bowl (red with mikey and pluto on it - same style as the blue one) at Target for cheaper.

I know it's not a "souvinere" then...but to save a few bucks...

We got our pug a donald duck costume, complete with hat. Or I should say I bought it, my DBF didn't want any part! :pug:

My fur babies love to eat and drink out of their Mickey bowls. Each bowl has a picture of all the Disney characters. :earboy2:

And my little fur child loves to play with her Mickey pillow that I bought at WDW. It is made of that lambs wool material and in the shape of the Mickey icon. The older one can cuddle up with it as well. Gotta love our babies! :cheer2:

WOW, you all make me feel so much better about myself. My family thinks I am insane for spending vacation time looking for presents for our 3 cats.

They have the Disney cat bowls already. I'm excited to check out the store in DTD, I don't remember ever seeing it before. It's my Salem's 3rd birthday while we are gone (don't worry, I'm leaving my husband home to celebrate with her), so I have to find something extra special for her.

Do you think they make anything for overweight dogs? My mom has a cute Yellow lab....but she is one of the widest dogs I have ever met...and nothing ever seems to fit her. :guilty:
