Some friends and us are all celebrating our 40 B-days this year and have an adults only Disney trip planned. We really want to " celebrate" What are the best bars in Disney to do this. ( I think my friends really want to get hammered)
Are there certain nights that are better for going out? ie better music on a certain day of the week, or more busy on a certain day?
Thanks

On property, Jelly Rolls and Atlantic Dance on the Boardwalk and Raglan Road at DTD are the main party spots. Off property, I would recommend either Universal CityWalk or one of the spots in downtown Orlando.
Thursday nights in downtown Orlando is the night the bars recognize the workers from the area attractions. Of course, the weekends are always party nights.

I DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY recommend Jellyrolls! If you don't know too much abt them, they are technically a dueling piano bar, but in reality they are far more than that!! The piano men are amazingly talented and can play just about any song you request, from Elton JOhn to Aerosmith to Lady Gaga...YES, Lady Gaga!! Also, the piano men interact A LOT with the crowd, so if you're not singing along, you are probably laughing or dancing! And, if you tell them it is your/ your friends birthday, there is a good chance they will get you up on stage for a birthday game or dance...always fun!! As far as getting hammered :) I usually stick to beers, but they have LARGE specialty drinks, which I've never tried, but I've heard it only takes a couple to "do the job", plus, they have a full bar, so there are the standard drinks, and of course, shots!! The piano men go on at 8pm and I would recommend getting there by 9 or 10 (latest) to guarantee a table. If you don't get a table there is plenty of bar/ counter space, and tables open up as the early birds make their way out. I've been every night of the week, and there is always a good crowd, which adds to the atmosphere! If there are any sports fan in your group, my sister and I like stopping by ESPN Zone (also at the Boardwalk) for a few beers and food before we go to Jellyrolls (Jellyrolls by the way has free popcorn, but they don't serve food) As far as Atlantic Dance Hall, I have been there before, but it has been a few years so I can't really give much input on them... I do remember having fun when I was there though... Have a great time, an if you go to Jellyrolls, make sure you et me know how you enjoyed it!!

Had a great time at Jellyrolls...and try the koolaid....yummy drink!!!

Jellyrolls is a blast, but I also like Atlantic Dance Hall. Raglan Road plays live Irish Music and is always fun. Paradiso 37 Has nightly entertainment at their huge indoor/outdoor bar (downtown Disney).

Piano Bob at POR is fun. Its not exactly a "party" bar but you can get drunk there. Bob is a blast and people go there just for Bob so I recommend getting there early to get a seat.

Like others have said, Jellyrolls is guaranteed FUN! Rix at CSR is worth a mention too. It's more of a low key club/ultra lounge sort of vibe. DJ some nights. There's usually a lot of conventioneers in there, and they always seem to be in PARTY mode. Maybe it's their only chance to let loose :confused3 Either way you will have tons of fun.

Jellyrolls sounds like the place to go. Thanks for the tip!

Hi All,

My boyfriend and I are going to Disney together in May and we're excited to go to Jellyrolls! We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge, while we're there Epcot closes at 9p so using their transportation back to our hotel wouldn't be an option because that's too early. :littleangel: So is our only option of getting back a cab?

Thanks for your help! :)

You could catch a bus from BW to DTD, then DTD to WL..... Ugh, that takes a long time. I would really consider a cab. $15-$20 at the most.

I have also heard reports that later in the evening if you tell the bus driver which resort you are at they may just drive you there instead of making you change buses at DTD. So I'd plan on possibly taking a cab, but you should still maybe ask the bus driver cause you might end up pleasantly surprised.
