Well, our official counter is 19 days until DW...
But the magic has already started! Yesterday my daughter got a package in the mail. She was SO excited ! Between the daisy chain that we tear a day from every night, the Disney picture books that I've got her from the library and watching a different Disney movie every night the excitement level is already out of the park for her.
But anyway, this package in the mail... I said, "Raine! You've got a package! It says it's from MICKEY MOUSE!" She stared wide-eyed and said, "REALLY, Mommy?" I helped her to open it and it was an autograph/photo album book for her trip with the Princesses on the front (only $8.76 from Disneystore!). I took the packing slip and said, "Look Raine! A note!" and then proceeded to read to her, "Dear Raine, I can't wait to have breakfast with you when you come to Disney World! I am SO excited to see you! Love, Cinderella."
My daughter flipped. In her 3 years, I don't think I have ever seen a look of more awe. She just sat in her car seat with her mouth wide open and finally looked at me and whispered really softly... "Wow."
In that one moment every penny I've spent on this trip, every online survey I've taken to earn money towards it and every coupon I've had to clip, rebate I've had to send in and new clothes I've had to do without this year totally, completely paid off.
I can't wait!
