best park to do for NYE?

I was planning to do MK on the 30 and 31st, but now I'm hearing from a lot of people that we should do Epcot for NYE.. is this true?

We went to MK on the 30th and HS and Epcot on 31st. last New Year's this year we are doing MK on the 30th and only Epcot on the 30th. It was very tough to get a place at the Studios to see the fireworks.

I figure at Epcot there is the full walkway around the countries and we should be able to see the fireworks from just about anywhere. They had lot's of DJ's set up at the countries. It is very very crowded but we had so much fun we are doing it again this year!

I've never been to a park on New Year's Eve, but if I ever get an opportunity, I will definitely choose Epcot.

We went that week a few years ago. We did the MK on the 30th. We didn't go until about 2 hrs before the fireworks. We found our spot on Main Street by the hub and listened and danced to the DJ and enjoyed the fireworks.
We then spent NYE at Epcot so we could see their fireworks display.
It was a perfect plan for us. We got to see both fireworks and I got to have a cocktail to ring in the new year. We also were able to see the Studios show ending as we were making our way towards the International Gateway entrance.

The Magic Kingdom fireworks are the same on the 30th and 31st. We went to MK on the 30th and Epcot on the 31st. NYE is the busiest day of the year, and there's a lot more room at Epcot. That said, CM's were directing traffic in the park all day and the crowds never seemed that bad. We left Epcot after the fireworks, from the UK pavilion, using the backstage walkways to get back to the monorail, and made it back to our room at Bay Lake in less than 30 minutes.
