We are heading down the end of the month for 5 days. My dd and I have AP's. My husbands has run out and we can't swing the cost of another for him right now as he probably won't be going again within a year. I have a left over PH w 3 days on it for him to use. What is my best option for getting him a pass? I tried to do advance purchase through WDW travel and they are unable to due a partial stay and said I needed to do it when I arrived (which means I won't get the advance purchase rate) or to call DVC member services to see what they can offer. Does anyone know what they would be able to do for us? P.S. we also have DC membership...no AAA though. Thanks for your help.

The only DVC discount is for UPH passes, but if you only want passes for a few days of your stay, the UPH won't be the best option as they are length-of-stay (they will drop 1st or llast day).

You will need either another Hopper or single day admissions for the days he will go into the parks. You could consider a 5 day Hopper (you can get that by advance purchase) and save your other 3 days for a future trip.

Here is a link to <a href="http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tickets.htm"> WDW ticket price</a> information.

You won't be able to get any advance purchase discount, but you could take your old PH with the three days remaining and trade it in for the 5 day PH at any WDW ticket window. I've also heard of this being accomplished at Guest Services at any WDW hotel, but I know for sure you can do it at any WDW ticket window. You get a redit of the old PH price for the unused days toward the price of a new ticket.
