We are doing a week in AK then doing a Disney cruise for a week. Whats is the best option for traveling? There is 2 adult's and two kids (Will need carseats or booster seat's) I was thinking

MDE - MCO to AK
Renting a car or taxi - AK to port canaveral
Renting a car or taxi - port canaveral to MCO

Another question is if I get Disney Bus to bring me to the port can I use the round trip back to WDW then the MDE back to MCO?

Thanks
Ron

If you use the Disney bus service; Magical Express runs from the airport to the resort and back, while the DCL buses run to/from the port and either WDW or the airport. ME is free, DCL costs $35/person.

If you booked DCL transfers, there would be no need to take it back to WDW after your cruise since they will drop you off at the airport.

I would take DME from MCO to AK. Check and see if 2 one way rentals are less than $140 round trip. You can rent a car at the car care center or downtown Disney hotel and drop it at port and then rent a car at port and drop it at MCO. I usually used Dollar or Budget. The Disney bus to the port from WDW usually gets you there late afternoon depending on the number of stops it makes. We like to board early at get eating and playing before the crowds. You could also check a car service. I've used Happy Limo and they have a WDW-port-MCO combo rate and provide car seats and a grocery/alcohol stop if you ask.
