Best online free credit score site?

Looking for my credit score, no cost and no strings attached. Recommendations?

I really just want to find out if I have any junk credit cards still open to close. I think I have one from some random furniture store out there from a 0% offer like 8 years ago. Other store cards and such. I don't need an exact number. Is that site good enough for what I need?

Annual credit report will let you see your report itself, and yes, will show you exactly what's open.

If you want the real score itself, often myfico has a 30 day free trial offer. You can see your score, and then just cancel before the trial is over.

I've used that site. Since you can get 1 report from each of the 3 agencies per year, I try to remember to stagger them every few months rather than getting all at once.
