Best non DVC choice for 3 adults?

DH and I want to bring his mom with us on our summer Disney trip. MIL is 60 and in great shape. It would just be the 3 of us. Although I LOVE my MIL, I would like to have just a bit of privacy while sleeping. Is there any resort with a suite that has French doors or some other sort of privacy divider between beds/daybeds while sleeping? For some reason, DH does not want to stay in a DVC suite. Maybe he's afraid I'll want him to buy in. We were also considering 2 rooms at a moderate, but I don't think MIL would want to be alone.

You can request a suite which would give you 2 bedrooms. I'm guessing pricing would be significantly higher than getting 2 rooms at a Mod. You can get connecting rooms at the Mod resorts.

All of the suites that have seperate bedding areas that I have looked at were more expensive than two rooms would be.

I looked in to this to get some seperation from my kids, but two rooms were cheaper.
