We did the Fantasmic Package here. Our meal time was not ideal - 3:40 PM it was the only time I could get and I booked months before hand.

Our waiter was the best server of the entire trip. The restaurant was half full and our meal came out in a timely manner and everything was yummy.

Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal.

Glad you liked it. It has been getting a lot of very bad reviews lately. We love it...we have gone the last two years and have fabulous meals both times with great service.

I also had a great meal at Mama Melrose. I'm a Disney geek, so for years I resisted eating there because I had a vague resentment that we got that restaurant in the space that was supposed to be the Muppet Movie Ride. But I tried it, and it was great. I don't even remember what my friend and I had (this was a few weeks ago), but everything was delicious. And the atmosphere was very nice, too. Very relaxing. I would definitely return.

We liked the food a lot also, when we were there August 2006. We reserved the Fantasmic package and could only get an early time, something like 4:30. We were in there almost 2 hours though so didn't have time to do much in the park between dinner and Fantasmic despite the early seating time.

I am glad you liked it, however we went there in April and out of all the restaurants on our DDP, it was by far the worst. The service was attrociousand I was further disgusted by the portions (very small), this after being seated at a table where the staff/ servers seemed to congregate and discuss their tables. We actually had one server put her butt on the ege of our table....that was enough for us and I asked to be seated at another table. From that point on the service just got worse.

Funny thing was they were not busy at the time of our reservation, as the restaurant was maybe less than 1/2 full.

Never would I go back there again.

Glad you had such a positive experience at MM:thumbsup2

i just ate there last week, and it also was my favorite meal of the trip...the artisan breads and spreads appetizer was really good, and i loved the spaghetti fra diavolo!

Thanks for the review. It's been a few years since we've eaten here, and we're going to try again this December. MM's has gotten some bad reviews lately. We're doing the DDP, so I'm hoping we can try a few different things.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

I was sad to see all the bad reviews lately for MM, since we've always liked it. I miss getting the artisan breads/spreads for free, but was happy to see it at least became a "pay for" appetizer :thumbsup2

We just got home from WDW yesterday, and MM was one of the restaurants we ate at based on a recommendation from a friend. We were EXTREMELY disappointed. Our service was poor, the menu was very limited, and the food was mediocre at best. We did get the artisan bread & dips for an appetizer, and that was the only good part of our meal. Our server spilled Sprite down my leg and didn't even notice. We thought that the restaurant had no atmosphere at all, and we would not recommend it to anyone.

We were there on the 15th for lunch. DS and DD's BFF had the cheese flatbread pizza and loved it. DD had the chicken parmigiana and had no complaints (which is unusual with her ;) ). I'm a picky eater, so I asked if they had just a "plain" spaghetti with meat sauce, so I got a nice bowl of that for just $9.99 (much cheaper than almost anything else on the menu). I would have loved some bread with it, though. Overall, the food was tasty and the atmosphere pleasant, so we were happy. If you're looking for a gourmet experience, though, this wouldn't be one of those.

ahhh, another happy customer- you MUST have had the same waiter we did. I feel your pain with this place- we're not going back there either.
