I'm going to try to get an ADR for CRT for DD's 4th b-day. So when is the best meal for this? We're not big morning people, so if we did breakfast it would have to be a late one! Any reviews or advice would be appreciated!

What ever you do, don't get the lamb chops. There were not just awful, they were gawdawful!!!!:scared: I love lamb and these were gristly, pretty much raw and one biteful for each chop. Such a disappointment.

The food was such a dismal disappointment (chocolate creme brulee is NOT supposed to taste like Jello chocolate pudding) that we will never, ever go back.

We did the breakfast but it was very early before the park opened. It was fun being one of the only ones on main street!

The food was good and so was the service!

:cool1:We did CRT for an early breakfast and loved it. The food was very good and we got plenty of character time. Plus being in the park before the official opening was very cool. Also we finished eating just in time for the opening and we were able to get on many of our favorite rides before the crowds rolled in. We have never done any other meals at CRT. Most of the reviews I have read seem to say the food isn't very good. Plus I am not sure if the characters for the other meals come around to the tables. Good Luck.:surfweb:

Last year we had breakfast with the princesses, but this year we are trying lunch. I wouldn't do the dinner unless you dd is very into Cinderella b/c at the dinner, it is only the Cinderella characters, not ALL of the princesses. My daughters wanted to see all of them, especially Ariel, so we had to stick with breakfast or lunch. The food was not great, but it was worth it to see my three daughters meeting the princesses. It was the highlight of their trip!

The food we had for dinner at the Cindy's castle was okay. The service was terrible. Yes, I mean terrible. On top of that, it is way over priced. It was our worst sit down experience at WDW. I do admit that the setting is beautiful. I've heard breakfast food is the best meal.

We did a character meal at the GF (1900 Park Fare) with all the princesses and it was awesome. The food was good and the character interaction was much better. It is $13 less per person. It is only a short monorail ride away from MK.

No matter which meal you choose for CRT, Cinderella will be in the lobby for photos as you enter. For breakfast and lunch, a variety of 4 other princesses will be there. I have been there several times and seen Aurora, Belle (in blue), Snow White and Jasmine each time. Others rotate in occasionally, like Alice or Mary Poppins. Dinner is hosted in the dining room by the fairy godmother. She does a cute (but short) little show where she mentions the special celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) and dances around the room. Suzy and Perla the mice are there dancing about too. But they don't really stop for pictures and autographs like the princesses do at the other meals. It's a great experience regardless of when you go.

If you're considering a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the birthday, then I highly recommend dining later in the day AFTER the makeover, so you can capture her new look in all your princess photos!

We're trying to get there for my daughter's birthday in Sept. The problem with going for a birthday is that you really need the ADR THAT DAY. A day later in your trip just won't be the same. I really hate this new 90 day window thing. At 180 days your odds were really good. I"m not convinced that will be the case at 90 days.

By the way, regardless of what anyone says about the food, it's a great experience. Dining from your table overlooking Fantasyland is unmatched in Disney dining!

We did lunch and really enjoyed it. Our food was good and the service was great. The character interaction was a highlight. This time we are trying for breakfast as we want to be in the park early. We have no interest in dinner as the princesses are not circulating the restaurants like they do for lunch and breakfast.
