My moms looking to try out wearing makeup. She would like to know what the best brand is for oily, old (her words, shes only 50) skin. Thanks!

I Love Bare Minerals make up. I have used it for years and now I have all my friends and family using it to. There is also Bare Essentials I think it maybe spelled diffrently though, and it is really really good too.

I just started using Clinique and i love it! It looks so natural. I went to the Macys near me and the girl there matched all of colors to my skin tone. Very happy with it.

I have used Clinique and I liked it, but my skin stays oily. I tried proactive, and that worked better for me. I have super oily skin, naturally.

Everyday minerals Love the stuff...go to everydayminerals.com...:goodvibes

These ladies really know what they are talking about.

I don't buy anything without checking there first.

for me, clinique does not last the day

Mac has been my makeup of choice for about 10 years and love it! I have done the rounds at Macys. Once Mac came along, no contest. Long wearing and long lasting

I do still like my Clinique skincare

Some cannot do the minerals, makes them break out. Many do love them though!

I tried Clinique- did not find it to be any better and maybe slightly worse than the Revlon Colorstay- so to save $ so far I am sticking with the Revlon Colorstay and they have it in oily/combo skin type as well as a "for dry skin" types. It lasts most of the day- covers well- does not come off on clothes etc.

LOL. I had to respond here because I recently gave my DW and DD a gift certificate to the be used at the France Pavilion in Epcot. They love Guerlain makeup (they were Bare Mineral fans but dropped it after using Guerlain products). Anywho, the CMs there were wonderful with them. Reorders from home is a breeze and prices are the same as Neiman's. Check it out if you are in WDW.
