Best Loop

This mabe a repeat but what is the best loop in FW? We have allways stayed in 100 or 200 since it is close to the dock but since I allways travel with a golf cart we were thinking that another loop might be better. Also I was very disapointed in the way they cut down so much vegation it looked way to open. the other times we were there even though you were 15 feet away from your neighbor the way they had it wou still had your own little place.

100 and 200 are really bare now? How bad was it? We reserved a premium site (we want cable), but I really don't care about being that close to the marina. In fact, we would rather be closer to the campfire and pool, especially if those loops aren't as cleared out as the ones down by the marina. Should I reserve a specific loop now to avoid 100/200? (We have a pop up, so the most important thing is a nearby comfort station.)

This whole concept of which is the "best" loop is very subjective. As I said in another thread on this theme, to me the best loop is the one I happen to be camping in.

I would be happy in any loop but 1900, a little too swampy.

I agree with the 1900's not being my favorite the sites seem to drop off from the concrete pads pretty drastic on some and yes they do seem swampy we like the 300's ,1600's aren't bad if you want to be closer to pool and campfire 300's are closer to hoop dee doo and marina just not sure how much they have cleared out any of these since Nov when we were there hope someone else can fill in the blanks

100 and 200 were both cleared of underbrush...but I don't think they are too bare. The pic in my signature was taken in 100 in April. There is still lots of shade in most of the sites.

I thought it was prety bare compared to the last time I visited. I didn't take any pictures of the loop itself but I do have a couple that show what it looks like but I don't have a way to post them.

My favorite loop is the 300 loop. Especially when the swamp trail gang is out.
