Best location for BCV??

I am about to make a reservation for BCV for Sept. 2008. What kind of requests should I ask for. I will be asking to be near the elevators because my DM has mobility issues. Is there anything else?

I can find every hotel but BCV. I looked under BC in case it was there- but no luck. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi, I think there are 3 Views you could REQUEST and 4 views from the BCV that you MAY get. (1)Pool,(2)Woods,(3)Woods(that MAY view the back of Epcot),(4)and Garden(this would face the BC). Good Luck! Joan

When we were there in February we had a first floor cuz of MIL. I wasn't sure if I would like it. I loved it. We had a 2 bedroom with a nice little patio off each bedroom and the livingroom. Every morning DW and I would sit out and have coffee and watch the birds and rabbits. Very relaxing. MIL liked it because of less walking and the proximaty to the quiet pool.

BCV is a fairly small resort with two elevator banks. So no one room is very far from the elevators. And if mobility is a problem, you'll probably want to rent an ECV from a medical supply company for your mother.

The "close to the elevator" won't help you with near to the bus stop which is a distance from the villas. And the walk to Epcot is closer than taking the boat because you have to walk over to to YC boat dock to catch the boat (and that's probably further than the walk from the BCV to Epcot). You will want to take the boat over to DHS.

With the Epcot view you can see some of Illuminations and you can really, really hear it.

DH & I were there last September. I'm not sure whether I asked for any special location - altho' we'll never stay anywhere else now.

Anyway, the room they gave us was the best location IMO. Room 210 is right by the elevator, right near the villas lobby/checkin,next to the atrium, looks out over the quiet pool and has a double balcony. It's a 1BR.

This time the whole family's going so I've requested a dedicated 2BR near the elevator by the atrium with pool view.
