For my money, The Age Of Not Believing may be the best known Dinsey song that people may not remember what movie it came from. Most songs are pretty well identifiable with their movie, but for some reason I think that Benknobs and Broomsticks seems to slip between the cracks of not only having decent songs but is also a great movie. My son of eight (almost nine) years of age just watched the movie for the first time and loved it. Maybe he only loved the last 20 minutes of it but he at least liked the rest, which is saying something these days.

We had "Candle on the Water" sung at our wedding. I also love "Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust - I'll Try"

"Snuff Out the Light", Yzma's villain song cut from 'The Emperor's New Groove' due to story changes. Wonderful rhythm and Eartha Kitt just shines!

Zippity doo dah!! Everyone knows that song. The movie it came from didn't age well though.

My favorite Disney song is Big Blue World from the Nemo musical at Animal Kingdom. Most Disney fans here and most who have been to the parks would recognize it but many others would not. Also, Villains Tonight from the stage show of the same name on the Disney Dream and Magic cruise ships, I know some hate the show but I personally love it.

Love these suggestions, it's always fun to discover "new" Disney songs. Personally, one of my favorites is "A Change In Me" from the Beauty and the Beast Musical on Broadway.

That one IS unknown since it isn't even on the soundtrack. Isn't that the one they added for Toni Braxton?

I LOVE "Someone's Waiting for You" from The Rescuers. I have two friends who adopted children and they say it's a big song in the adoption community.

Also, I ADORE "One by One" from The Lion King on Broadway. In fact, time to play it on YouTube...

I think you're right, Tom. Although I believe there's a recording of A Change In Me by Susan Egan on one of the soundtracks, perhaps a later broadway recording.

"Oh, What a Merry Christmas Day" from Mickey's Christmas Carol.

The Demos from Horizons are on YouTube and sung 5 different styles. Just great.

Hmm...
I Won't Say (I'm in Love)

That was the first thing that came to mind. There might be "better" choices though, after I get to thinking about it. (From Hercules, btw.)

"Lavender Blue" - In a movie that was before my time, but I remember it from a children's record.

As a close second, "Ugly Bug Ball" - I discovered this song as an adult from Sherman Brothers Songbook CDs, but I find it to be so clever. It was also in a movie.

Coincidentally, both sung by Burl Ives.

I actually love the Burl Ives song "On the Front Porch with You" which is, I think, from a live action Disney movie called Summer Magic. I always imagine being an old lady with my old man on the front porch. :-) I wonder if the Dapper Dans can sing that.

I cant even name the song, so maybe someone else can....

It's the song the little hyper bird from the 3 Caballeros that goes all around the screen. He tears up the sheet music and starts singing. I could try to spell the type of bird and the words, but it would be HORRIBLE! Anyways, back in the day (early 2000s) my friends and I were in high school and always having movie nights. One night we busted out all the Disney "big boxes" and found that one and as it turns out it was a favorite of all of us. It became a tradition at movie night that you watched that last. Well movie nights continued through college and once we were old enough, movie nights involved grown up beverages and then drunken karaoke versions of aforementioned song---complete with goofy dancing inspired by the bird....ahhhh the good old days!

I'm pretty sure that I have "Ugly Bug Ball" by Burl Ives on an old 45 speed record. ( Yes - I am showing my age ) LOL!
