I just got an ipone4 are there any Disney dining apps that are worth it???

To my knowledge there are no dining apps, but there are wait time apps. But I believe Disney has a mobile site and you can access dining info right on mobile safari. If you happen to find a dining app would you pm me the name of it please?

Two things:

There is an app called WDW Dining. It doesn't link into the actual dining website, so you can't make reservations, but it has a good interface and a place you can save your reservation times and numbers. They update their app regularly, and their menus are fairly accurate, sometimes even more so than what you can find online. I believe it costs $1.99.

As a good companion, you should bookmark the actual Disney Dining website. Just Google search "Disney dining" and it should pop up as mobile when you open the link. From here, just as you can online, you can search restaurants and available time by parks, areas, dining preferences (meal, cost, etc.) and by hotel area. You can also make reservations on the app. It's a great resource for last-minute reservations while you're on vacation, and we have used it as such many times. Its sleek, trimmed-down interface loads very quickly, even on Edge.

To save the bookmark as an app on your springboard, just click the little page and arrow symbol on the bottom of your Safari screen and when it prompts you, click "Save to Home Screen". It will even give you a nice little app symbol already built into the bookmark.

Similar to the above, also save a bookmark to the dining menus at allears.net.

What a topical thread ... we're going next week and just ordered an iPhone for my wife (tired of her complaining about her 6 year old EnV). Figured I needed a mobile hotspot while were down there anyway.

You can also find the Allears menus within the Mousewait Florida app, which is easily the best wait time app out there. There's even a very active, real-time community chat forum that people use to share day-of tips and sometimes even hidden fast passes. We actually used the California app just last week to both get extremely accurate wait times and let the community know that we hid a couple of World of Color fast passes for the first person who could get to them.

I would consider it an essential Disney touring app, and best of all, it's free.

How funny..I had a 3 yr old EnV and I bought myself the iPhone last week (I have Verizon ) so I'm a newbie to this whole App business.

They just did an update to this and now have a food finder feature which you can use to find your favorite items (turkey legs, Mickey bars, etc.) We used it last trip for all our reservation numbers and to figure out where we wanted to eat for quick service. Very handy to have and it works on an iPhone or iTouch.

Thanks everyone for the great help. You all made it easy :thumbsup2
