Best hotels near beach and Cape Canaveral

We are wanting a beach day, the day before our cruise and would like it to be close enough to walk to the beach. Anyone stayed anywhere recently that was very nice?
 
4 Points Sheraton is very close to the beach. We have always been happy staying there.
