best hotels across the street from DLR for family of 5 - and how best to book?

Nice to hear I've made a decent choice. Sh and I are taking my dd, 22, and her boyfriend to DL for four nights in May.....college graduation trip for her! So we have a suite booked...,2 rooms that each have 2 queen beds and a bathroom!! The two bathrooms is a huge plus!!
Is there anything special to be aware of with this hotel? The location looks good, we won't have a car and will take a shuttle from lax.

If you don't park there, let them know and request the parking fee be refunded. It is charged automatically, but they will remove it if you don't park there AND you ask them. Saves you around $9/night. Other than that, nothing to add. It was great, clean, staff was friendly, fridge in room was a huge bonus plus 2 bathrooms!

Thanks! No car, so I'll remember to mention it. Loving the two bathrooms. We'll have a girls room and a boys room!!

Thanks for all of the replies on this post. We settled on Park Vue Inn (it's so close, and available for our dates!). Am very excited to be able to walk to the parks. We also decided to make it a 3-night, 3 day stay. We arrive from 3 days in San Diego on a Sat. night and will use 3-day park hoppers starting Easter Sunday!

Here's another vote for the Desert Inn and Suties, (oops I see you already made your choice.)
But for someone else...
We have had the parlor suite, and also the one with the sofa bed in the other room with its own tv, can't remember what it's called. We are trying the family suite this year.
We love the location. The motel itself is very satisfactory. Parking is the only problem we had...there isn't enough!
