Best Hotel near SeaWorld?

We're still in the beginning stages of planning our next WDW trip and are thinking of a S-Th stay at a DC studio. We're also going to try to do SeaWorld this time, so it would make good sense to stay at a hotel near SeaWorld on the preceding Fri and Sat. nights.
Any recommendations? We can't afford the Marriott Resort at World Center (or whatever it's called!), but I noticed a new Hilton Garden Inn nearby. Has anyone stayed there and is it truly close to SeaWorld?

It has to be the Renaissance Resort, which has some great deals right now and is literally acros the road from the park. Superb hotel at a bargain price. If that doesn't suit you, the Sheraton World is only a block away and should be well under $100 just now.

Where are you finding deals on the Renaissance right now? I won't need it until winter 2004, but the Marriott site shows nothing under $249/nt. for a standard room. Can I do better?
