Best Hotel/Motel for walking back and forth

Does anyone have ideas for the best motel for getting back and forth quickly? How many entrances are there to the parks?

BW Park Place, Park Inn, Tropicana, Carousel, Park Vue, Desert Inn & Suites (stayed here and liked it - got it for $59), Del Sol, Anaheim Inn, Ramada Maingate.
Alot of people on here say the Hojos is walking distance, but I have always disagreed with this. To me it is too far to push kids at the end of the day to walk there. That is my opinion though. I suppose if you are a family that is really fit and walk a LOT it would be nothing, but for the average family it is pretty far at the end of the day.

I agree with the post before about HoJo's. But, I have found a really good map to judge your walking distance. The DLR is laid out completely different from WDW. All the entrances are centrally located. In fact, staying off-property at one of the good neighbor hotels, like the Park Vue Inn, are closer in walking distance to the main entrance(s), than staying in the resort itself.

I agree about the distance from off-site hotels being less than on-site hotels in some cases.

We also stayed at the Anahiem Desert Inn and Suites and loved it. It was right across from the entrance and we also got a room for $59. Be aware that it is more of a budget motel. If you're looking for a nice hotel with all the perks this isn't it. But if you want a clean room that is directly across the street from the entrance this is a good choice. Also each room has a fridge and a microwave, which was vital since we were traveling with a one year old.
