I normally drive down or stay at my brothers in Fort Erie but I think for our trip in March I would rather stay near the hotel and take a shuttle.

Any Suggestions on which hotel?
How much does it cost normally?
How long did you have a to wait for a shuttle back to the hotel?
Do they all provide free parking?

I've always wanted to stay at the millenium hotel. Anyone know if the tropical courtyard is "indoors"? Is that picture of their pool the "indoor pool"? That would be so cool if so.

Wherever you go, make sure it's not the Ramada on 48 Freeman Road. What a dump. It is a hole. Probably one of the worst motels I've every stayed in... yucky.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn and it was very nice with breakfast in the morning. Most recently, we stayed a night to go shopping and I used Hotwire and got the Days Inn for $69. It is directly across from the airport and has a breakfast included also. It is very clean and very suitable for 1 night and I know they have a park and fly rate but seeing as it is across the street from the airport I would use the airport parking.

we've stayed at the holiday inn express in front of the airport. paid about $190 including taxes i think, but it included 10 days of parking, use of the shuttle and a buffet breakfast. hotel very clean, great pool and staff were great too. we considered our stay there as PART of our vacation rather than a place to stay before we started our vacation.

I second this!

we always stay at the Sleep Inn on Holtz Rd acroos from the airport. $109 get you 1 night stay, breakfast, evening snack and upto 2 weekes parking. can't beat that!

We stayed at the Sleep Inn last June. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Nice continental breakfast. We got in late, slept and the left for our flight. For us it was fine for what we needed. I think we paid around $125 for a suite with 2 weeks parking.

I also noticed that they had just built a new Hilton Garden Inn right south of the airport. I think I was quoted around $180-200 US a night.

We will be staying at the sleep inn when we go in May. I have heard all good things about it. it is your basic hotel, with not many extras, but everyone has said it is clean. and really, thats all that matters to me!
